Had the privilege of attending Sean Barnes’ Executive Presentations course. Great program and very engaging! A day well spent!Posted on GoogleJosiah PlumleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The namesake of the company is well-chosen, and this event is no exception. Imagine being thrown into the river to learn how to swim, or sent out to your Krypteia, or facing a lion as your right of passage. Or imagine being thrown to the wolves. Now, imagine the person who threw you was Michael Phelps, the person who sent you was a Spartan general who personally trained you, or the man who handed you your weapons was a Maasai elder that had prepared you for this very moment. That's what being being thrown to the wolves is like when your coach is Sean Barnes. The fear is there. The internal sense of inadequacy fights for attention. The defense mechanisms of freezing, stumbling, or blanking threaten to take up space. But it's ok. You're not just in this moment, fighting for your dignity. You've been prepared for it. The fear is subjugated by your preparation. Your sense of inadequacy finds itself in a losing debate with your increased competence. Your weaknesses have been identified and addressed. Your strengths have been pointed out and optimized. Your vulnerabilities have been transformed into your superpower. At the end, like thousands before you, you walk out victorious. You didn't just survive. You've proven your mettle. And Sean Barnes does a masterful job helping you forge and reveal it. You will leave better than you came - as a professional, as a presenter, and as a human. And you will not leave alone. You enter the crucible with strangers. You leave with friends, shared stories, serendipitously aligned visions, and a shared courage to take on what many fear the most. Do it. It's worth it.Posted on GoogleChristos NicolaouTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Coaching for growth as an executive is complicated due to egos that often flare up. This was very different and very constructive, learning experience. Well done.Posted on GoogleJohnnie LeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sean and his team were absolutely amazing! They created a space for leaders to be vulnerable, stretched, and developed.Posted on GoogleReynaldo GonzalezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best executive coaching I’ve had, definitely recommend for anyone looking to grow.
Questions You're Probably Asking
Is this a sales pitch in disguise?
No. Nobody presents, nobody pitches, and there are no slides. We’ve hosted eleven of these and the number of pitches is zero. If someone tried, they wouldn’t be invited back.
Then who pays for it?
A sponsor does, and I’d rather tell you that up front than have you figure it out at the table. One company underwrites the dinner and sits in the room as a peer, not a vendor. They get the same seat you do and the same rules. What they’re buying is the chance to be in a real conversation with people at your level instead of chasing you through LinkedIn.
Who else will be at the table?
Roughly fifteen executives. Recent tables have included CIOs, CISOs, and Chief Data Officers from companies like Honeywell, Oceaneering, and Apache. Every seat is picked individually, and we don’t seat direct competitors together. If you want to know who’s coming before you commit, ask me and I’ll tell you.
What does it cost?
Nothing.
What's the format?
Initial networking, then dinner. One table, one conversation, a couple of hours. I facilitate, which mostly means I keep it honest and make sure the quiet people get heard. There’s a few topics to start, but not a formal agenda.
Am I going to get sold to afterward?
Not by me, and not by the sponsor. There’s no follow-up sequence, no drip campaign, no list you got added to. If you and someone at the table want to keep talking, that’s yours to decide.
How do I get invited?
Most seats come through people already in the room. If you think you belong at the table, request an invitation and I’ll take a look. Not everyone gets a seat, and that’s the point.
